A car was driven into a crowd of people at a Christmas market
in the central German city of Magdeburg on Friday night.

Two people have been killed, according to Saxony-Anhalt's state
premier, Reiner Haseloff, who said at least 60 more had been
injured, many seriously.

Haseloff said police have taken the driver, a Saudi national,
into custody and believe he acted alone. Magdeburg police also
announced an arrest online.

Haseloff said the man was a doctor with permanent residency
status and that he has lived in Germany since 2006. He had
used a rental car in the attack.

One of the dead was a toddler.

This is not the first Islamist attack on Xmas affairs
in Germany. Cars/trucks are a common WMD in these
attacks.

labor shortage and need to import foreigners. BUT,
why did it have to be Moslems/Islamists ??? Try
Taiwan, India, Vietnam, Thailand instead - far
less likely to detonate themselves in public places.

the United States - nearly the percentage that causes a low level civil
war.

NOW it seems the perp was an EX-Moslem and was hyper-pissed
because the govt was letting in too many Islamists.

As for some kind of civil war or revolution in Germany ...
I think it'll be the UK first, mostly because things are
suckier there for everyone. Both main parties have been
lethally incompetent for decades - and, for some insane
reason, Brits elected the MOST incompetent party into
power this year. It's almost like a Monty Python sketch.

To take Germany, the Islamists would have to do something
with the military - either downgrade it into uselessness
or heavily infiltrate. Haven't heard anything about either
of those goals going on. The Russia thing kinda ensures
the mil will NOT be disappeared.

DailyMail now reports that the perp also had some kind
of explosive device in his car - but clearly it failed
to detonate.
